We are currently working with Kiru - fintech startup from Austin in Texas. Our client can boast of implementation in Latin America market, and new countries/regions planned.

If you like to work with us, let us share our need for competences - we look for UX/Content Designer. 


You will help to shape our strategy and approach to content design within our UX team. We are looking for a UX Content Designer with a user’s mindset and a designer’s lens to plan and develop intuitive, succinct, and relevant copy that guides users through the digital platform. You’ll straddle front-end and back-end, solving complex content problems and leading copy initiatives, translations, audits and copy governance. This is a role for someone who likes to collaborate with product development and design, is proactive and highly organized, and thrives on working in a fast-paced, start-up environment. You will report to Head of Design (Austin, US) and collaborate closely with UX/UI team based in Austin, US and in Bogota, Columbia. 

Your daily responsibilities

  • Make sure English is clear and appropriate for UI. Craft clear and succinct product copy that facilitates user needs and tasks, including navigational elements and labels, CTAs, promos, error messages, empty states, onboarding and instructional materials, and other components of the end-to-end user experience.

  • Maintain brand voice and Persona research in UI (i.e., headlines, alerts, emails, etc).

  • As content has impact on the rest of the team, you will work closely with UX, Product Management and Research teams for design, research, and user testing.

  • Manage internationalization tool - Lokalise (experience is great, but a willingness to learn this tool is mandatory).

  • Push and pull content strings to/from Figma to Lokalise.

  • Facilitate any needs related to content strings and translations for developers, marketing and customer experience. Manage regional translators and their usage of Lokalise.

  • Develop an understanding of our brand style guides and design system. Maintain consistency of brand tone and style across all platform elements.

  • Help design content solutions to improve systems, overcome technical constraints and reduce content debt.

  • Work lockstep with UX designers across every step of the development process to ensure users can complete tasks and find the information they need in the most natural way possible.

  • Manage on-site tagging for SEO and AI.

  • Evaluate feedback (internal reviews, feedback forms, surveys, user testing etc.), develop insights and activate them for content triage and iteration.

  • Write for a variety of products and mediums (mobile, web etc.) for B2B & B2C audiences.

  • Collaborate with product, design, UX, marketing operations (support and engagement) and legal to assess project needs and assist with messaging.

  • Stay current on UX and content trends for competitors within the sphere.

  • Edit and proof work to ensure high standards are met across all content outputs.

We need you to have

  • Advanced UX content experience

  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, especially in language, style, grammar, and flow

  • Strong creative thinking skills, as well as the ability to think conceptually and make the complex simple

  • Ability to strike a balance between what the users want from products and what the product designers are trying to sell or emphasize.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Jira, Miro and Figma

  • Experience working with Lokalise or a comparable tool

  • Experience with Content Management Systems (Lokalise, Contentful, Drupal, WordPress, etc.) required

  • Native level English language skills (writing, speaking, and reading)

  • Comfort working with a global team. We are a global community of people with many languages and cultures represented. Our day to day language is English. In this particular role, some fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred (although not required) given the interaction with the communities that we serve.
