We are currently working with a French company that is a world leader in end-to-end smart mobility and mobility management, including innovative parking solutions, EV charging, mobility management, and more.

A Street Smart hub is a Mobility as a Service solution that municipalities can offer to their citizens and visitors, giving them a unified and highly customizable user experience of on-street and off-street parking, EV charging, curbside management, and transportation through different sales channels, like mobile applications or on-street terminals.

If you like to work with us, let us share our need for competencies - we are looking for a Senior Performance Engineer.

Your daily responsibilities

  • Execute various types of performance tests, load tests, stress tests, and scalability tests.

  • Analyze test results and performance metrics, generating detailed reports and recommendations;

  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness of testing efforts.

  • Troubleshoot various performance issues, identifying root causes and ways to optimize;

  • Stay up -to- date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in

  • Testing and performance engineering.

  • Daily collaboration with the SRE 

  • Define the performance testing strategy for a given subject (risk and bottleneck studies, campaigns, scenarios, industrialization, etc.) 

  • Identify needs in terms of infrastructure and observability 

  • Define the tools/scripts to run these scenarios and generate the associated load.

  • Analyze and suggest performance improvements following tests and production analysis. 

  • Produce campaign test reports, indicating system limitations and improvement recommendations.  

  • Capitalize on the technical knowledge of subsystem behaviour 

  • Be involved in the solution design process: reviewing impacts on system performance, alternative proposals, and solution testability requirements.

We need you to have

  • Proven experience in software testing and performance engineering, including designing and executing test plans, and analyzing system performance. 

  • Minimum 3 years experience in performance testing and performance engineering

  • Tools and methods for performance and log analysis 

  • Load generation tools: Gatling, JMeter, etc. 

  • Kubernetes environment 

  • Observability and APM (Application Performance Management) tools 

  • Scripting languages (Python, Scala) 

  • REST, SOAP, RPC architectures... 

  • Druid, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch databases

Would be great if you have
