Our mission is to support tech companies, startups (scaleups) mainly, in fast and high-quality scale-up of their teams and boost their product development, testing and deployment; so we can succeed together.
We are currently working with a fintech startup from Austin in Texas, whom we support in software engineering. Our client can boast of implementation in Latin America market, and new countries/regions planned. If you like to work with us, let us share our need for competences below.
As a Software Architect, you will report to the Chief Architect (US, TX) and work closely with the Product and Development teams to design modular, scalable, reliable and cost-effective cloud native applications. You will be dedicated architect for cooperation with development teams based in Poland.
Your daily responsibilities
Guide development teams in software engineering
Support Product Owner and Functional Analyst in product functional design
Analyze functional and business requirements
Design components and theirs APIs in a modular micro-services architecture to support rapid go-to-market and cost efficiency
Design or select the best mix of cloud architecture and underlying services
Act as owner of non-functional aspects of cloud platforms (performance, HA, resiliency, security, certification/regulatory)
Participate in code review process to ensure application quality
Monitor and enforce functional / architecture / technological consistency among all platform components
Design platform improvements based on findings from common customer support issues
We need you to have
Strong general knowledge in Information Technologies and Software Development Lifecycle, including current industry trends and their implementation
Proven track record of designing and deploying modular, micro-services based, cloud-native applications.
Ability to analyze complex functional and business requirements
Ability to conduct technical and functional investigation and troubleshooting of complex application problems
Experience with event-driven systems
Experience in architecting / developing / deploying solutions hosted on public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
Knowledge of non-functional aspects of cloud platforms (performance, HA, resiliency, security)
Ability to remotely co-operate with Chief Architect and Product Owners based in US & Latin America
Would be great if you have
Experience programming with C# / .NET Core
Experience with MongoDB
Experience with DevOps practices and tooling
Fintech experience and working with certification/regulatory requirements
Leadership skills and experience in leading or mentoring developers
