We are currently working with a French company that is a world leader in end-to-end smart mobility and mobility management, including innovative parking solutions, EV charging, mobility management and more. A Street Smart hub is a Mobility-as-a-service solution that municipalities can offer to their citizens and visitors, giving them a unified and highly customizable user experience of on-street and off-street parking, EV charging, curbside management and transportation through different sales channels, like mobile applications or on-street terminals.


If you would like to work with us, let us share our need for competencies - we are looking for a Tech Leader / Team Leader - Smart City.

Your daily responsibilities

1. Ensure Team Readiness:

  • Collect requirements, screen mockups, and performance requirements in advance

  • Verify the availability of necessary tools and environments

  • Organize teamwork according to defined processes and tools

  • Be proactive in suggesting process improvements


2. Steer Team Work:

  • Direct team efforts towards delivery across various aspects including solution architecture, design, specifications, development, testing, and production support

  • Ensure alignment between expressed needs and team capacity

  • Responsible for delivery to production, meeting deadlines, scope, and quality


3. Preparatory Phase Activities:

  • Verify completeness of requirements

  • Identify risks and interactions

  • Estimate costs

  • Manage scoping and specification activities

  • Break down tasks and plan work considering constraints


4. Business Planning and Activity Management:

  • Organize project kick-off

  • Drive solution design

  • Motivate and manage the team

  • Monitor progress and coordinate with other teams/internal customers

  • Ensure completeness and consistency of deliverables

  • Anticipate and mitigate risks


5. Reporting:

  • Maintain consistency of information in monitoring tools

  • Communicate regularly on project progress

  • Escalate problems to management when necessary

  • Identify means necessary for achieving delivery objectives

  • Identify and address potential problems, escalating when necessary

  • Contribute to technical architecture discussions as per skills

We need you to have

  • Fluent English

  • Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

  • Development planning tools

  • Micro-service-based architecture

  • CI/CD tools and concepts

  • Micro containers and virtual infrastructures

  • Software testing and systems integration

  • Database knowledge (Relational and NoSQL)

  • Distributed version control

  • Previous software development experience is a plus

  • Resource management and problem-solving skills

  • Curiosity and open-mindedness

  • Clarity in communication

Would be great if you have

  • Previous experience in software development

  • Experience with business planning methodologies

  • Strong analytical and writing skills

  • Experience in resource management
